Equifax and the Equifax Foundation are committed to the communities to which they belong. In St. Louis, the community involvement manifests itself in a place based strategy in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood. The St. Louis office has a history of giving in the historic Old North neighborhood – an area which has seen a considerable turnaround in the past decade. Partnering with numerous high-performing non-profits, the St. Louis strategy deploys a collective impact model where the key stakeholders work together towards shared outcomes in the arts, education, housing, infrastructure and business development sectors.

In addition to Equifax Foundation funding, different divisions within the St. Louis business unit "adopt" single agencies in the collective model and take ownership of supporting those agencies through a variety of volunteer efforts.

While the St. Louis business unit's primary focus is in the Old North neighborhood we undertake a variety of other community activities including an annual United Way campaign, matching gifts and disaster relief efforts when the need arises.

College Summit

College Summit works in partnership with targeted school districts to encourage and empower mid-tier high school students to find a way into colleges and universities.

Haven of Grace

Haven of Grace is a residential and aftercare program that helps homeless, pregnant women establish families in the community by providing a safe, nurturing and educational environment.

Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement, in partnership with business and educators, uses hands-on experiences to teach young people the economics of life and open their minds to their own potential.

Sunshine Ministries

Sunshine Ministries, founded in 1903, offers food and shelter to the homeless on the streets of St. Louis.

Teach for America

Teach for America works to eliminate educational inequality by building a corps of outstanding recent college graduates who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public schools.
